I call for an official vote on a book (or does everyone get to choose and we all take a turn?). I currently have the following on my bedside table:
Special Topics in Calamity Physics by Marissa Pressl
Damned If You Do: A Novel (I can't remember the author)
The Places In Between (I can't remember the author)
I have not read the Devil in the White City or Life of Pi.
Just tell me what to read and I will get reading.
Anyone? Anyone?

I thought we were going with The Life of Pi? Mmmm...pi...
Gee, I thought we were going with Pi and Virgins...... yeah, there's so many things that could be read into that.
The Big Dubya and I were going to get both and take turns
Devil in the White City was a great book.
Though I havent read Pi yet...
A- we are reading either LIFE of PI or VIRGIN SUICIDES (or both) this month. Can we table the books you suggested to Feb/March??
But after VS and PI, I wnat to read Devil in the White City. So that's my vote for NEXT time :)
I have "Special Topics in Calamity Physics" waiting, as well, so lets keep that one in the pile for the future.
How about this: Read "Life of Pi" now. Discuss (however much time we need, I don't know how long it is). Next month VS, the next month "DiWC" and then the next month the one on your nightstand with the long ass title that I've never heard of.
